The Punjabi community of Hyderabad and Telangana come together as “PUNJABI SEVA SAMITHI” with a motto “ Service to Mankind is Service to GOD”. PUNJABI SEVA SAMITHI was envisioned and constituted by prominent people from the community, registered and incorporated society, and has been an active force since 1998 with a registered office in Abids, Hyderabad. Started with a small group of 25 people open for all Punjabis to join and contribute to welfare and represent all the Punjabis in state.
PUNJABI SEVA SAMITHI is a forum for all Punjabis in the state, we have been on the forefront of social service, undertaking various social programs for betterment of all irrespective of caste, creed and background. Our event and efforts include free health check-up,free distribution of Eye-glasses, food service for persons attending fish medicine,facilitation of match making for bride & groom. We provided Oxygen Concentrator, food for all at the time of Lockdown are to name a few. We also actively initiate events and also encourage participation for keeping the cultural values alive and passed on to the next generation.
To maintain and conduct a social assistance of a non-political character for the accommodation of members of the Association and their friends and for carrying on social, moral and co-operative objects.
To adopt measures, for the social, physical, cultural, economic and educational uplift of its members and to raise, organise and train Volunteers for social services.
